If you love dogs, You will really love a Rottweiler!
German Rottweilers are the SHORT WIDE ones. Standard size the male is at most 27 inches at the shoulder and most males (in Germany) weigh in at 110-120. Most people thought Duffus weighed in at 140. Truth be told he is 109 in this picture.
This is Kendall's Country Charm: fm. 76 lbs. The females are about 25 inches at the shoulder and weigh in the 70's.American Rottweilers are the lean taller ones. Some are even heavy or heavy boned. Personally I have only seen out of shape rottweilers that weighed the 150 to the 185 I hear about. Remember this is a working dog and I just do not see a large 185 lbs dog being much of a crime stopper after the intimidation failed.
This is not a debate site and I love all dogs and Rottweilers of all ages and size.
